Home
Digest International Ltd. evolved in 1994. Since then
we have been publishing one of the largest consumer
home and lifestyle magazines in Canada. Home Digest
reaches over 675,000 homes via Canada Post
in the G.T.A. (Greater Toronto Area) and Durham Regions
four times a year.

We have worked hard over the years to provide our readers and our advertisers with a top-quality magazine. Therefore, I'm pleased to announce that our efforts have been recognized with an Award of Excellence in the international 2006 APEX Awards.

Our
editorial content is short, newsy, breezy and fresh
-- articles are tailor-made for every home in North
America. Our editorial ranges from recipes to reviews
of family cars. Then came the fun stuff. What we did
was position advertisers in our print product. We carry
a nice balance, with an advertising to editorial ratio
of 55/45. Then we took it one step further. All of the
advertisers in Home Digest are exclusive. We have one
of each particular retail or service company in the
G.T.A. postured in our magazine. As well, youll
find links to their web sites on www.homedigest.ca .
Because
of this we are able to bring together quality businesses
that homeowners in the G.T.A. can rely on for work in
their homes--companies that consumers can have confidence
in.
"Where
do we go to get new windows installed? Flooring? Renovation
for a bathroom or kitchen? Who do I call? Should I talk
to my friends and neighbours? Who have they worked with?"
Of course, another option is to go to the big yellow
"book" in all our homes and play a little
Russian roulette with choosing from the many vendor
names listed.
Isnt
it better to just open Home Digest for some advice and
direction? We receive hundreds of press releases on
hundreds of brand new products coming onto the marketplace
and in a few cases we actually receive the products
themselves. So between editor "Bill" and myself,
we showcase our new product picks through the year and
give reviews on a few. We are very confident that if
you choose any of our sponsors (advertisers) from our
web site or our magazine, you will receive the service
you deserve.
Now
nobodys perfect. I have made mistakes in my business
-- I was tricked or fooled by a company. Today our ship
is pretty clean and I am very proud of all our people.
